Coimbatore accused get life terms
A special court on Wednesday announced the quantum of punishment in the 1998 Coimbatore blasts case.
The court awarded a double life term to convict Mohammad Ansari while accused number three Tajjuddin and S A Basha have been given life terms. They have already served nine years in prison. The blasts targeting senior BJP leader L K Advani's election rally in 1998 serial blasts killed 58 people and left over 250 injured.
