Colaba: Mumbai's causeway of sorrow
Wherever one may be in the world, if one has heard about Mumbai, chances are that the images one most associates with the city are not of cops. It is the Gateway of India facing the Mumbai harbour and the imposing Taj Mahal Hotel, a part of Colaba that people associate Mumbai with. There history, urban folklore and live reality combine to produce Mumbai's self image.
