Combat role for women in future: Mukherjee
In a significant development, Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee has said that women officers could be considered for combat roles in the future depending on their willingness to undergo hard training. He also said women would do very well in using information technology in the army and that they could operate high-tech weapon systems.
