'Comedy Will Never Stop,' Says Vir Das
"You can put us in jail, you can change laws, but comedy will never stop," one of India's leading comics, Vir Das, told NDTV. He added that comedy is the natural response to crisis, politics and challenge. "Even in these sensitive times, comics shouldn't censor themselves. I have joked on racism, sexism, section 377, Donald Trump and The Indian Government, and all I care about is if jokes are good and fresh,' he said.
