"Committee To Investigate Damage": Conservationist After Tiger Safaris Banned In Jim Corbett Reserve's Core Areas
Pulling up the Uttarakhand government for the felling of trees and illegal construction in Jim Corbett National Park, the Supreme Court today said public trust had been thrown into the waste bin. While talking to NDTV, wildlife conservationist Lathika Nath said, "It is very upsetting how viable tiger habitats have been abused and destroyed. She hopes that the committee will investigate and gauge the damage done."
