The first phase of CUET or the Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate admissions to central universities, began today amidst some amount of confusion. There were 500 centres in India and 10 abroad for around eight lakh candidates in the first slot. But many complained about getting to know about their centres at the last minute, and a last-minute change in centres - causing great anxiety to both students and parents. Students, schoolteachers and college professors weigh in on the new mega entrance test and how it played out in the first round.
