Communal violence in Assam escalates
The violence between the Bodos and Bengali Muslims in Assam has escalated in the past two days. The communal violence that began in August has claimed 25 lives in the past two days in two adjoining districts of Udalguri and Darrang. Out of the four people who died in police firing, the Udalguri superintendent of police has been suspended.
