"Communist Rule Did Nothing Except Destroy Lives Of People In Tripura": PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Agartala on April 17. The Prime Minister hit out at the Left and said "The Communist rule in Tripura did nothing except destroy the lives of people in the state. But now, there's a government in Delhi that cares for the people of Tripura".

Voting for Tripura West Lok Sabha seat and by-election to Ramnagar assembly constituency will be held in the first phase on April 19, while electors in Tripura East Lok Sabha constituency will exercise their franchise in the second phase on April 26.
