Congress Credits Priyanka Gandhi With Another Big Deal: Landing Sidhu

Punjab Congress Chief and the party's unofficial face of the Punjab elections Amarinder Singh credited Priyanka Gandhi with another big deal this election season: landing Navjot Singh Sidhu. "She is a very perceptible, very wonderful young lady. Priyanka was the one who got Sidhu and Pargat Singh into the Congress," he said. Amarinder Singh, who has said this will be his last election, also said he wanted Priyanka Gandhi to campaign in Punjab. "I think she is more into working for her mother and brother's seat in UP at the moment. I wish she could have come. It would have helped us," he said.
