Today year-long celebrations to commemorate 75 years of the adoption of the Constitution of India were kickstarted with an event in Parliament but a war of words also erupted between the India bloc and the government as the opposition demanded a two-day discussion on the Constitution. The government hit back, saying to let discussions take place in parliament instead of disruptions. The Samajwadi Party did not attend the parliament event and instead targeted the government over the deaths in Sambhal.
