Congress Protests Party Leader Adhir Chowdhury's Suspension From Lok Sabha
The Congress and other opposition parties today staged a protest near the BR Ambedkar statue in the parliament complex, accusing the government of bulldozing the constitution. Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the party's Lok Sabha leader, was suspended and flagged to the Privileges Committee so that he cannot take part in the audit report meeting.
