Congress Releases Poll Manifesto For Chhattisgarh
Two days after the BJP released its Chhattisgarh manifesto, the Congress has come up with its list of poll promises for the state, with incumbent Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel releasing the manifesto and several welfare promises, the primary among them being the promise to increase the minimum support price in a huge outreach to farmers. The loan waiver scheme, which stood increasingly to the Congress's advantage, will continue. In Chhattisgarh, it's going to be a direct fight between the BJP and the Congress, and it feels like it's now a battle of freebies.
