Look at the issues on which the Bihar elections were fought, Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinate said while refraining to comment on her party's performance, which experts are seeing as an effect of weak campaigning by the leadership. "The Congress fought the Bihar elections on issues that matter - of joblessness, development and high prices; We saw people these resonate with people. The BJP only tried to polarise the fight," she said dismissing the trend of Congress trailing on majority of the 70 seats it fought as "fluctuating". She further insisted her party's performance must be seen as part of the alliance's overall tally.
