Union Minister and BJP leader Nitin Gadkari has said the Maharashtra election is going to be a complex matter this time. He also laid to rest the conspiracy theories that the BJP government would change the Constitution if it won the general election again. "In the last general election there was accusation against us that we would change the Constitution if we won again," Mr Gadkari told NDTV. "The Supreme Court had said salient features of the Constitution cannot be changed... After the Emergency under Indira Gandhi, the Constitution was tinkered with to bring the word 'secular' for their own benefit. If anyone has changed the Constitution, it was the Congress," he said.
