Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma thanked NDTV for organising the #IndiaForKerala telethon. Mr Sangma said that we should come together, and do all that could be done to help Kerala, as such a disaster can strike any other state. Speaking of north-east, Mr Sangma said that the region has experienced floods in the past. The country as a whole should come together to help Kerala, and it is the responsibility of every citizen of the country to lend Kerala a helping hand, the Meghalaya Chief Minister said. There are so many ways to help and Mr Sangma urged people to use the #IndiaForKerala telethon as a platform to help the people of Kerala.
