Consensus on GST continues to elude Centre, states
Differences between the Centre and states continue to hamper efforts to roll-out Goods and Services Tax, with just eight state finance ministers present for a meeting of an Empowered Committee on the issue. For now it seems the government will have a hard time meeting its deadline for implementation.
