Delhi is witnessing an unprecedented showdown between the Lieutenant Governor and the Chief Minister, resulting in the Chief Minister of Delhi sitting on a dharna - on a sofa. Arvind Kejriwal is trying to get the city to move again, the Lt Governor has his own position and the IAS officers also seem to be on some sort of a strike. In the middle of everything, Delhi is quite not functioning. Amidst this, a demand for Delhi's statehood has been raised and as politics would have it so is the resistance towards it. So, Delhi is facing a constitutional crisis. Whatever be the immediate politics, these are long term issues, long term questions which need to be addressed.
