Contradicting Amit Shah, Centre Says 'No Proof Saradha Funds Financed Terror'
Days after Amit Shah, the BJP president, alleged that funds involved in the Saradha chit fund scam were used for terror, the government appears to have contradicted him. In a written reply to Parliament, Jitender Singh, the Minister of State with the PM's Office, said there is no evidence to prove that Saradha money was used for terror activities.
