Indian wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia, who protested against the sidelined Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, have been given direct entry to the Asian Games 2023 without trials, causing a stir in the wrestling community. The ad-hoc panel's decision has triggered a massive controversy as the two grapplers will go to the Asian Games without trials, which will be held for all weight categories across two styles.
