Cop assaults couple in Haryana, action demanded
A day after an assistant sub-inspector of police was suspended for pulling a girl by her hair in Haryana's Jind district, residents are now demanding tougher action. In a video, shot a few days ago, showed the policeman manhandling and insulting a couple, just before Valentine's Day. The assistant sub-inspector Mola Ram was seen pulling the girl by the hair and dragging her around repeatedly. Since then he has been suspended.
