Cop Learning To Drive Car Hits Man, Drags Him On Road; Runs Away
Hajipur: A sub-inspector in Vaishali district's Hathasar Ganj OP area, while learning to drive a police vehicle late at night, lost control and crashed into a shop after hitting a young man. The victim, trapped under the vehicle, was dragged along the road, sustaining severe injuries. Shockingly, the sub-inspector fled the scene, leaving the injured man behind. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, sparking outrage among locals who seized the police vehicle’s keys and staged a protest. The standoff lasted for several hours as anger over the reckless behavior escalated.
