Cops beat up Anna's supporters in Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad district, supporters of Anna Hazare's anti-corruption movement were beaten by cops who were a part of Union minister Salman Khurshid's security cover. The protesters had blocked Mr Khurshid's motorcade and waved black flags. Cops deployed for the minister's protection thrashed protesters after which they lay down before his motorcade and did not let it pass.
