Delhi Police today took one of the women protesting wrestlers to the outgoing wrestling federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's official residence. Sources say this was done to recreate the sequence of events that led to the sexual harassment of which he has been accused. The wrestler was accompanied by women personnel as well. The protesting wrestlers on Wednesday met Sports Minister Anurag Thakur and agreed to suspend their agitation till June 15 after he assured them that a charge sheet against Singh will be filed by then. Saraswati Vaidya and Manoj Sane, the man accused of killing her, chopping up her body and boiling parts of it in their home near Mumbai, were married, the police said today, as new details emerged on the gruesome murder. Saraswati, 32, was in touch with her four sisters, three of whom were questioned today by the police and other top stories.
