Case Filed Against UP Man Over Covid Rumours
The husband of a pradhan at a village in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida has been charged under the Epidemic Diseases Act by the Health Department for allegedly spreading rumours about COVID-19. The accused, however, said he has been victimised for protesting against the government's failure to manage Covid spread at his village.
