'Caught Unaware By Rapid Spread In Second Wave'
AIIMS chief Dr Randeep Guleria says India should have been cautious about the rapidly spreading UK variant of coronavirus. "We saw how it spread in the UK like a wildfire." He says India has been caught off guard with the how rapidly the virus has spread, adding this was not anticipated after what the country saw in the last wave.
