Coronavirus: Derek O'Brien Says Worried About Community Transmission In India

Trinamool Congress MP Derek O'Brien today said that with the alarmingly increase of coronavirus cases in the country, the community transmission of the disease is a worrying factor. He also said that the Mamata Banerjee government in Bengal has taken serious measures to curb the pandemic from spreading further, such as ensuring that railways are shut are ensuring that 7.5 crore people in Bengal have access to ration and basic necessities. Derek O'Brien also said that the Bengal government has ensured that 5 crore worth of insurance coverage gets done for medical workers.
