As India imposed one of the biggest lockdowns in the world, a sense of distress and panic ran through lakhs of migrant workers of the country. They faced a grim reality… with businesses shutting down they had no source of income and that meant no food. They chose to walk for days to get back to their villages instead of dying of starvation far away from home. Goonj, a non-government organisation has been working tirelessly to provide ration and medical kits to India's most vulnerable.
