Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das said on Monday that the coronavirus pandemic can affect the economic activity in the country. Addressing a press conference amid the coronavirus outbreak, the RBI Governor said sectors such as tourism, airlines, hospitality and trade are already suffering due to the fallout of the coronavirus outbreak. His comments come at a time the fast-spreading coronavirus pandemic is spooking global markets andthreatening world economy.
