Amid Vaccination Push, Up's Big Challenge
The Uttar Pradesh government has said it will aim to vaccinate 6 lakh people daily starting today. However, UP faces a big challenge - it has a population of 23 crore, and to meet a 6 lakh vaccinations per day target, the state will need to double its daily vaccination numbers. Less than 2 percent of the state’s population is fully vaccinated.
