COVID-19 Vaccination Drive Successfully Conducted On Day 1: Health Ministry
After Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the country's giant vaccination drive today, the health ministry said vaccines and syringes were sent to all the states and union territories beforehand. Additional Secretary in the health ministry Manohar Agnani said two types of vaccines -- Covishield and Covaxin -- are being administered across the country. He said more than 1,65,000 people were vaccinated on the first day and the drive was successful.
