The film's producers and its lead Tamil super star Vijay have been fighting with the BJP which wants the film banned because its critical of the new tax regime GST. The film missed its date with the Telugu audiences too even as the court backed the film makers, making it clear viewers can choose to skip the film if they want, but it won't be banned.
