COVID-19: Long Term Impact On Heart
The damage caused by coronavirus to the heart can be both direct and indirect, one of the major complaints has been inflammation of the heart or myocarditis. A US study using MRI found cardiac abnormalities in 78 of 100 patients who had recently recovered from COVID-19, including 12 of 18 asymptomatic patients.
