COVID-19 Diseases Can Cause Depression: Amitabh Bachchan
On a special interview with NDTV, Campaign Ambassador Amitabh Bachchan talked about coronavirus and how the disease can cause depression. He said, "It is very important for people to see another human being but in hospitals you don't see humans - you see doctors or staff members wearing white suits - you are not able to see their expressions or visualise their face. We are used to a scenario where doctors will come and visit patients, hold their hands and tell them that they will be fine. That is not happening anymore - these are some of the elements that cause depression and this is one of the areas that we need to look at."
