Covid-19 Second Wave Was About Saving Lives And Very Different From First Wave: Neelam Makhijani
Neelam Makhijani, CEO & Country Director, ChildFund India said the focus needs to be in the Primary Healthcare Centres (PHC) in rural areas to prepare and prevent third wave, especially since the next wave is likely to impact children, the preparation needs to be done keeping this age group in mind. She spoke about Project Hope that is supported by ChildFund and in less than two months put up the required healthcare infrastructure in 100 PHCs during second wave and saved lives of one crore people.
