From today, everyone aged 45 and above will be able to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Earlier people between the age of 45-60 were required to present a medical certificate about their comorbidity, in order to get vaccinated. In Delhi, vaccination is taking place at 500 vaccination centres spread across 192 hospitals in the city. NDTV brings this report from the Max Superspeciality Hospital in Saket where people expressed relief after receiving their jabs and said that the government should open up vaccinations for even younger age groups since they go out and interact a lot more and could pose the risk of infecting others.
