8 States Have Over 1 Lakh Active Cases, Says Government
The Health Ministry on Thursday said that eight states in the country presently have more than 1 lakh active cases, indicating a let up in the Covid surge. Earlier, eleven states had more than one lakh active cases. The Ministry also said that nine states have between 50,000 to one lakh active cases and 19 states have less than 50,000 active cases. There's also a drop in new cases and positivity rates in ten states, the Ministry informed.
