Ahead Of Mahakumbh, Massive Covid Spike In Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand has seen a rise of around 100 per cent in its daily coronavirus cases in the last few days. This is when the state is hosting Kumbh Mela in Haridwar in April, where lakhs of devotees are expected to visit in the next 30 days. As a precaution, the state government has made a Covid-negative report mandatory for people travelling from 12 states.
