Covid Not for BJP, Only For Opposition Protests?: Akhilesh Yadav
In an interview to NDTV, Samajwadi Party chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav hit out at the BJP and the Yogi Adityanath-led UP government, asking why COVID-19 safety rules are applicable only for opposition parties and not for the BJP, on a day he was stopped from travelling to the state's Kannauj district for a protest in solidarity with farmers. Mr Yadav said the BJP is spreading propaganda in saying that opposition against farm laws is because of political opportunism.
