Chennai's Mega Vaccination Drive Targets 1 Lakh Doses Today
The Greater Chennai Corporation has launched a mega vaccination drive to administer one lakh doses today amid vaccine apathy. 400 camps including 200 mobile units were set up for the same. Chennai has nearly 58 lakh eligible population and so far, 24 per cent of it have been fully vaccinated. 60 per cent have been administered with the first dose. NDTV spoke to senior officers on the strategy and challenges.
