"No country in the world can afford vaccine hesitancy," says Kiran Mazumdar Shaw, while speaking to NDTV on India's vaccination target in comparison with the real numbers. "India is vaccinating only half its target," Ms Shaw said, stating that the country has to speed up vaccinations. Referring to concerns over AstraZeneca vaccines, Ms Shaw said it's "irresponsible" for European countries to suspend the use of the vaccine.
