CPM meet to decide on third front: Basu
The CPM is currently holding its 19th party congress at Coimbatore. Sunday is the second day of the congress, but Jyoti Basu, one of the party's founders, has not been able to attend it because of ill health. Basu, aged 94, is missing a party congress for the first time since the CPM was formed in 1964.
But he is tracking all the developments from his home in Kolkata, including the growing momentum towards a third front - something he is skeptical about.
