On World Environment Day, the message was simple-minded: don't use plastic. On Livestream tonight, we ask how important is it to start down a crackdown on plastic, and what is the next step towards protecting planet Earth from environmental degradation. Our guests today Aditya Mukarji, a 13-year-old student from Sri Ram School, Gurgaon, who started an anti-straw campaign in Delhi, spoke about the necessity to have eco-friendly straws in order to bring down the pollution caused by plastic. Our special guest, Dia Mirza, ambassador for UNEP, spoke about the depletion of our natural resources and the steps that are utmost necessary in order to protect them.
