Crossing frontiers: Women who tread men's domain
These women have done where no woman has gone before, from tanking up cars at South Delhi's busy petrol pump to driving autos all across the city. She's quick on the uptake and has mastered the tricks of the trade, 20-year-old Pooja fuelled a revolution of sorts, when she took up a job at the petrol pump in a South Delhi neighbourhood. Pooja said, "Whenever customers come for a fill they call us bhaiya. Then they get surprised and quickly apologise and call us Mam."
