Crowds throng to Mahim for sweet sea water
The mass hysteria over sea water turning sweet in Mumbai continued, which began on Friday night, continued on Saturday, as crowds thronged to Mahim to drink the dirty sea water. Traffic on the Mahim causeway was affected and cops had to step in to clear the jam as thousands of people thronged to the beach because they believed that the water had miraculously turned from salty to sweet.
