Cruise on Jhelum River to attract tourists
If Kashmir is known as the paradise on earth, its capital Srinagar is called the Venice of Asia for its breathtaking canals and waterways. Now in a bid to boost heritage tourism, water transport is being revived on the Jhelum River. And while for the tourists this gives an opportunity to get a closer look at the historic city, for the locals it provides solution to problems like frequent traffic jams and pollution.
