Culling drive intensified in Bengal
Six days after bird flu was officially confirmed in a government poultry farm in Ballughat in Birbhum district of West Bengal, it has now spread to a total of five districts. And the fight to prevent further spread of the virus is proving to be an uphill task. With bird flu spreading in West Bengal, the Union Minister of State for Health, Panabaka Lakshmi on Sunday said she was not happy with the way the culling operations have preceded.
