The Maharashtra political crisis has intensified, with the rebel MLA count at Guwahati now up to 33 Shiv Sena MLAs - out of the 55 Shiv Sena MLAs in total. Earlier today, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said he was willing to resign if his party leaders wished it - this amid the fact that rebel Sena leader Eknath Shinde seems to be heading the main faction of the party. The ball is now in Mr Shinde's court, but has the crisis spiralled out of Uddhav Thackeray's hands? Will he be able to keep his grip on the government?
