Cyclone Jude | Cyclone Jude crashed through Mozambique Monday causing widespread damage to infrastructure, leaving people homeless and without power and causing flooding. Making landfall in the early hours of the morning, locals were taken aback by its severity. The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has been working alongside the government to distribute emergency aid kits and other forms of help to those affected. In another development, A new global report reveals that 83% of cities worldwide fail to meet air pollution standards, with India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Chad, and Congo having the worst air quality. The report by Switzerland-based IQAir analysed data from over 40,000 monitoring stations across 138 countries. Byrnihat in northeastern India was ranked the most polluted city globally. Experts warn the real pollution levels could be even higher due to limited monitoring, especially in Africa. The World Health Organization estimates air pollution kills around seven million people each year. Watch The World Report for the latest updates.
