"Cylinder Fell On My Feet, Lost Money": Rescued Amarnath Pilgrim To NDTV
A woman, from Mathura, on the Amarnath Yatra was airlifted to Baltal base campy after a cylinder fell on her feet while she was waiting around the community kitchens. "It started raining heavily. A cylinder fell on my feet and I lost all my money. I need money to go home," she told NDTV's Sharad Sharma. About 15,000 pilgrims have been moved to safety from near the holy cave shrine of Amarnath after a flash flood triggered by a cloudburst swept away scores of people, killing at least 16.
