Daily Positivity Rate At 1.81%, Says Health Ministry
India's daily positivity rate has dropped to 1.81%, the Union Health Ministry said today. Despite the drop, the ministry said it is "noticing a further surge in some states - Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh". "Similarly, there are states which are reporting fewer cases but not in the same proportion as is happening nationally. In these states, the daily cases have plateaued. So it is important we continue our containment efforts in these states," Joint Secretary (Health) Lav Agarwal said at a media briefing.
